1. Pursuant to the Contract for the Scott Valley Neighborhood Park
Project, awarded to Golden Meadows Construction, Inc., did on May
23, 1995 enter into an agreement with the City of Encinitas
i-volving:
Construction of a new park consisting of: site grading;
drainage and manhole work; utility connections; chain-link and
tubular steel fence construction; masonry entry monument and
concrete walkway construction; basketball and volleyball court
con:---uction; play and fitness equipment installation; park
si*c -arnishings installation; irrigation system construction;
and turf and landscape establishment.
2. Said agreement, including plans and specifications for said
improvements, is on f ile in the of f ice of the City Clerk of the
City of Encinitas.
3. The name of the surety on the Contractor's bonds guaranteeing
construction of said improvements and the payment of labor and
material therefore is Amwest Surety Inaurance, Woodland Hills,
California with policies issued on May 26, 1995.
4. Said improvements were completed and accepted by the City
Council of the City of Encinitas on the 6th day of December, 1995.
5. Perfor--ance Bond #003004959 in the amount of $319,000.00 is
hereby released on December 6, 1996.
6. Labor and Material Payment Bond #003004959 the amount of.
$319,000.00 is hereby released on December. 6, 1996.
Neither acceptance of said improvements by the City Council of
the City of Encinitas nor this nctice constitutes a waiver of any
defects in the work of the construction or installation of said
improvements.
