YOU WILL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on July 3, 1989, the public
works project r..umber R-1002, "Construc+ion of Pedestrian Ramps at
Various Location", consisting of ccnstruction of 97 pedestrian
wheelchair ramps, removal and relocation of signs, adjustment to
signal conduits, relocation of traffic signal pull boxes and minor
asphalt concrete work, all within the Old Encinitas and Cardiff-
by-the-Sea area of the City, on which Schaefer Construction was the
contractor and Amwest Surety Insurance Company was the surety, was
completed.

NOTICE OF GONiP7ETION
1. Pursuant to thp Contxact for EncYnitas Viewpoint Park
Improvements Project, awarded to Excel Landscaping Inc,
did on the eighth 3ay of December 1988 enter inico any
i agreement with the City of Encinitas to construct certain
improvements indicated in contxact documents, said
; improvements consisting af park expansio reandtlag water
ogen play field, walkways, p Yg
conservation irrigation system.
2. Said agreement, including plans and specifications fQr
said improvements, is on file in the Office of the City
Clerk of the City of Encinitase
3. The name of the surety on the Contractor's bonds
guaranteeing construction of said improvements and the
payment of labor and material therefore is Golden Eagle
Insu.rance Company, with policies issued on December 20,
1988.
+ 4. Said improvements were completed and accepted by the City
CounciZ of the City of Encinitas on 24th day of May, 1989.
5, Performance Bond, Number SUR 084411, in the amount of
$111,283.20 is hexeby released on June 29. 7_989.
6. Laber and Material Payment Bond, Number SUR 084411, in the
amount oi $111,283.20 is hereby released on June 29, 1989.
~ 7. Neither acceptance of said improvements by the City
Council of the City of Enci.nitas nor tliis notice
constitutes a waiver of any 3efects in the work of the
construction ar installation of said improvements.
