1. Pursuant to the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California
and Title 24 of the Encinitas Municipal Code, Scotts Valley, a
California General Partnership, did on the 17th day of Auqust,
1987, enter into an agreement with the City of Encinitas to
construct and install certain improvements shown on Plan No. TM
4579-1 in that certain subdivision known as Scotts Valley, Record
Map No. 11921, said improvements consisting of street and drainage
improvements in the City of Encinitas.
2. Said agreement, ?ncluding the plans and specifications for said
improvements, is on fa.le in the Office c,f the Clerk of the City of
Encinitas.
3. Said improvements were completed and accepted by the Encinitas
City Council on the 27th day of September, 1989.
4. The name of the surety on the subdivider's Bond guaranteeing
construction of said improvements and the payment of labor ana
material is.American Insurance Company, c/o GAF Insurance Service,
P.O. aox 85410, San Diego, CA,92138, Attention Ms. Chris Patterson.
5. Security
A. Construction of Improvements
Bonds quaranteeing construction of improvements from the
American Insurance Company (Bond 230. 731 63 63) as
follows:
Band amount $1,224,950.00
Street, drainage and sewer
improvement $1,120,000.00
Partion (to be retained)
amount to be released $ 104,950.00

The retainQd amount shall remain with the City for one year
following the acceptanGe of work by City Council and until such
time that the City will require the security.
B. Payment of Labor and Material
Bonds guaranteeing payments for labor and material in the
amount of $564,075 from American Insuiance Company (Bond
No. 731 63 63). This bond is to be released six months
after the above date of acceptance of improvements by the
City Council.
6. Neither acceptance of saad improvements by the City Council
nur this notice constitutes a waiver of any defeets in the w4rk of
the construction or installation of said improvements.
