1. Pursuant ta the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California ~
and Title 24 of the Encinitas Municipal Code, Scotts Va11ey, a
California General Partnership, did on the 10th day of August,
1987, enter into an agreement with the City of Encinitas to
construct and install certain improvements shown on Plan No. TM
4579-2 in that certain subdivision known as Scotts Valley, Record
Map No. 11922, said improvements consisting of street and drainage
improvements in the City of Encinitas was approved by City of
Encinitas Planning Commission on 13th day of Actober, 1987.
2. Said agreement, including the plans and specifications for said
improveaments, is on file in thp Office of the Clerk of the City of
Encinitas.
3. Said improvements were completed and accepted by the Encinitas
City Council on the 18tY: day of July, 1990.
4. The name af the surety on the subdiva.der's Bond guaranteeing
cpnstruction of said improvements and the payment of yabor and
tnaterial a.s American Insurance Company, c/o GAF Insurance Service,
P. O. Box 85410, San Diego, Ca 92138.
5. Security
A. Construction of Improvements
Bonds guaranteeing constr.uctian of improvements from the
Ameriaan Insurance Company (Bond No. 731 64 06) as
fol.lows s
Bond amaunt $1,884,200.00
Street, drainage and sewer
improvement (to be retained) $1,860,000.00
Amaunt to be released $ 24,200.00

The retained amount shall remain with the City for one yeax
following the acceptance of work by City Caunc:il and until such
time that the City wi'l1 require the security.
B. Payment of Labor and Material
Bonds guaranteeinq payments for labox and material in the
amount of $942,100.00 from American Insurance Gompany
(Bond Na. 731 64 06). This bond is ta be released six
months after the above date og acceptance of improvements
by the City Counail.
6. Neither acceptance of szid improvements by the C3ty Council nor
this notice constitutes a waiver of any defects in the work of the '
construction or installatian af said improvements.
