1. Pursuant to the f:ontract for the 1dI'-cellaneous Park Impravements Projec#, awarded to
Mentone Turf Suppiy did on March 5, 1997 enter into an agreenneni with ehe City of Encinitas
involving selected park izmprcvements which included:
Americans with IDisabilitaes Aet (ADA) modificateons (stair hacedrail additfions and
changes; bridge, raarnp aeid walkway changes; twm picnic table aclditions; walkway
aff±=nns; concrete upgrades; restroaYn door upgrades; and eoncession counter
window addition); playground saund xemova1 and replaeement; basketball eourt
asphalt overlay and striping; basketball courrt retaining wall, stamped eoncrete
installations; masonry trash enciasure add'etions; parkimg !ot planter modirications;
security lighting 6nstallations; drainage ianprovement.s; and builcling electrical panel
upgrades.
2. Said agreement, including plans and specifications for said improvements, is on file in the
Office of the City Clerk of the City ef Encinitas.
3. The narne of t1he surety on the Centractor's bQnds guaranteeing construction of said
improvemf.nts and t!'ie pzyment of labor and material therefore is A,meriean Reliable Insurance
Gornpany, Upland, California with policies issued on March 4, 1957.
4. Said improvements were completed and accepted tsy the City Council of the City of Encinitas
on the dune 21, 1997.
5. Perfo-mance Bond #AIaB 001872 in the amount of $3S,740.00 is hereby released an June
11,1198,
