SUBJECT; Acceptance of Improvements for Tentative Map 4411-1
Due to the incorporation of the City of Encinitas on October 1,
1986, the subject property is now within its jurisdiction.
On March 25, 1987, the City of Encinitas accepted the improve-
ments for said project, resolution enclosed.
Also enclosed is a copy of the Notice of Completion recorded
by the County of San Diego on behalf of said City. Pease
note paragraph's No. 5 and 6 which states how the bonds are
to be released.

1. Pursuant to the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California
and Division 1 of Title 8 of the San Diego County Code, Cameo Development,
a subdivider, did on the 3rd day of October, 1984, enter into an agreement
with the County of. San Diego to construct and install certain improvements
in that certain subdivision known as Tentative Map 4411-1, Record Map No.
11052, said improvements consisting of street improvements in Cardiff
Park.
2. Said agreement, including the plans and specifications for said
improvements, is on file in the office of the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors of the County of San Diego as Document No. 668150.
3. The name of the surety on the subdivider's Bonds guaranteeing
construction of said improvements and the payment of labor and material
therefor is Insurance Company of the West, 3570 Camino del Rio North, San
Diego, California 92103
4. Said improvements were completed and accepted by the City Council
of the City or Encinitas on the 25th day of March, 1987.
5. Performance Bond No. 13 13 65: $455,545.00. Improvement portion
$438,240.00; 9n% ($394,416.00) is hereby released and the remaining
$43,824.00 shall be held for a period of one year from the acceptance date
in paragraph 4 above unless further notified by the City. Monumentation
porti.or. $12,000.00 is hereby released and the remaining portion was Tax
and Assessment Liens in the amount of $5,305.00, Park Land Security
$13,367.00 and Drainage fees $10,800.00 have been paid.
6. Labor arid Material Bond No. 13 13 65: $225,120.00 should be
released in six months should no claims be filed against it with the City
of Encinitas.
7. Noither acceptance of said improvements by the City Council of
the City of Encinitas nor this notice constitutes a waiv=r of any defects
in the work of the construction or installation of said improvements.
