Due to the incorparation of the City of Encfnitas on October 1,
1986, the subject property is now within its jurisdiction.
On December 9, 1986 the City of Encinitas accepted the
improvements for said projects, resolution enclosed.
Also enclosed are copies of the Notices of Completion recorded
by the County o£ San Diego on beha?f of said City. Please note
paragraph's No. 5 and 6 which states how the Bonds are to be
released.

NOTICE OF COMPLE'PION
' 1. Pursuant to the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California
and b.ivision 1 of Title 8 of the San Diego County Code, Harry L. Su:nmers,
Inc., a subdivider, did oa the 5th day of January, 1983, enter into an
agreement with the County of San Diego to construct and install certain
• improvements in that certain subdivision known as Tentative Map 3897-1,
Record Map No. 10556, said improvements consisting of street and drainage
' improvements £or Vista Del Rio Encinitas Unit #1.
2. Said agreement, including the plans and specifications for said
improveroents, ia on file in the office of the Clerk of the Board of
. Supervisors of the County of San Uiego ?s DocumQnt 170. 646430.
3. Said improvements were co.,ipleted and accepted by the City
' Council of- the City of Encinitas on the 9th day of December, 1986.
4. The name of the surety on the subdivider's 3onds guaranteeing
construction of said improvements and the payment of labor and iuaterial
therefor is The American Insurance Comgany, c/o The Mi.lls Cumpany, 3505
Cedar Springs, Dallas, Texas 75219.
5. Improvement Bond #5222299 in the amount of $664,100.00.
Improvement portion: $654,700.00. On March 28, 1986, the County
Department of Public Works reduced this portion to $65,470.0C. This
portion shosld be released at the end of the one-year warranty period.
[9onumentatic portion $6,250.00 is hereby releasEd and the drainage fee
portion #3,150.00 is hereby released. Sewer Improvement Bond #5222299-1:
$89,150.00: this amount was reduced to $8,915.00 on March 28, 198G by
• Public Works. This amount shoulcl be released at the end of the one-year
. warranty period.
. 6. Labor and Material Bond #5222299 in the amount of $327,350.00 and
Sewer Labor and Material Bond #5222299-1 in the amolint of $42,640.00
should both be released in six (6) months should no claims be filed
against them.
7. Neither acceptance of said improvements by the City Council of
' the City of Encinitas nor this notice constitutes a waiver of any defects
in the work of the construction or installation of said improvements.
