NOTICE OF COMPLETION
Pursuant to the Contract for the Cottonwood Creek Park Construction Project and Sidewalk
and Intersection Improvements, awarded to I. E. Pacific, Inc, on March 19, 2003 and entered
into an agreement with the City of Encinitas involving neighborhood park and intersection
improvements which included:
1. Restoration and enhancements to Cottonwood and Moonlight Creeks, installation of two
tennis courts, two half basketball courts, open turf areas, play structures, picnic pavilion,
restroom, pedestrian and bike paths, and a veterans memorial.
2. Intersection improvements for Encinitas Blvd. and Vulcan Ave. that included removal of
the free right turn lane north bound Vulcan Ave. to east bound Encinitas Blvd., replacement
of sidewalks and a new sidewalk along the north side of Encinitas Boulevard under the
railroad tracks
3. Said agreement, including plans and specifications for said improvements, is on file in the
Office of the City Clerk of the City of Encinitas.
4. Said improvements were completed and accepted by the City Council of the City of
Encinitas on December 15, 2004.
5. Neither acceptance of said improvements by the City Council of the City of Encinitas nor
this notice constitutes a waiver of any defects in the work of the construction or installation
of said improvements.
I, Deborah Cervone, City Clerk of the City of Encinitas, a political subdivision of the County of San
Diego, State of California, which is the owner of the public work described in the within Notice of
Completion executed by said City of Encinitas, do hereby certify that I have read the same and
know the contents thereof and that the facts therein stated are true and of my own knowledge. I
make this verification under penalty of perjury for and on behalf of said City of Encinitas.
