1. Pursuant to the Contract for the Grandview Beach Access Lighting Project, awarded to
EMS Construction on June 25, 1997 enter into an agreement with the City of Encinitas
involving beach access lighting work which included:
installation of electrical conduit and wiring; installation of footlight and floodlight
fixtures; installation of protective light covers; and associated carpentry
2. Said agreement, including plans and specifications for said improvements, is on file in the
Office of the City Clerk of the City of Encinitas.
3. Said improvements were completed and accepted by the City Council of the City of
Encinitas on the September 10, 1997.
4. Neither acceptance of said improvements by the City Council of the City of Encinitas nor
this notice constitutes a waiver of any defects in the work of the construction or
installation of said improvements.
I, Deborah Cervone, City Clerk of the City of Encinitas, a political subdivision of the County of
San Diego, State of California, which is the owner of the public work described In the within
Notice of Completion executed by said City of Encinitas, do hereby certify that I have read the
same and know the contents thereof and that the facts therein stated are t.ue and of my own
knowledge. I make this verification under penalty of perjury for and on behalf of said City of
