SUBJECT: Authorization of District Manager to file "Notice of Completion" for
Encinitas Corporate Center; TM 94-199; APN 258-111-05, 06 & 30; located
on Encinitas Blvd. and Saxony Rd.
ISSUE: Whether to authorize the District Manager to file "Notice of Completion for
Encinitas Corporate Center.
BACKGROUND: On June 28, 1995, the San Dieguito Water District entered into an
"Agreement to Improve Water Facilities" (A-OOI9) with Nesco Development Company.
ANALYSIS: The owner of an office complex, located at 344 Encinitas Blvd, has requested
that the San Dieguito Water District file the "Notice of Completion" for the water lines that
will become part of the public system.
The pipelines were installed in accordance with District approved plans and specifications,
under District inspection. District staff has no objections to filing the "Notice of
Completion". A 25% retention of Security will be held for one year following the filing of
the Notice to cover guarantee and warranty.
FISCAL AND STAFF IMPACT: No fiscal or staff impact is anticipated.
RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the District Manager to file the "Notice of Completion"
for Agreement No. A-OOI9 with the County Recorder's Office.
