HYDROLOGY EVALUATION FOR THE DALAGER RESIDENCE
SINGLE FAMILY GRADING PLAN - HERMES AVENUE, LEUCADIA

Gentlemen:
Please allow this letter to serve as an informal hydrology report
for the subject residential grading plan. Based on direct obser-
vations and the attached hydrology map, the drainage basin for
this site is approximately 0.50 acres. Assuming urban drainage
design, it is conservatively estimated that the 100 year storm
for this site is approximately 1.5 CFS.
The grading plan proposes to intercept the small amount of drain-
age behind the eastern wall and direct it to landscape (grass)
swales behind the north and south wall and outlet to the side-
yards where the water was originally being routed prior to the
proposed grading. A hydraulic calculations is attached to indi-
cate the non-erosive velocity and maximum slope of the landscape
swale.
Based on our observations and the attached hydrology map and
hydraulic calculations, we request your acceptance of this hy-
drology evaluation for this project. Should you have any ques-
tions or comments, please feel free to contact this office or
respond, as such, with plan check comments.
