ordsred filed.
The Secretery reported to the Board of Equ813zation,he2d
on August 24, 19172 ahich met to equalise assessments as
required by the statute,ta ovita Sea.38 of act 1725 oP the
General Lews of the SLate of Californ3s~: Sec39 of said
Ant requir3ng that within 15 days after the closing oF
~ its sesslon ss e Board of Equalization, levq an as8essment suf-
ficient to psy 3n ftill a11 sums due or that shall become due
, upon the District before the tiroe for levying the nezt an-
nusl assessment. The Board proceeded to disauss the levy.
The President stated that f t would require the amount of
one and a half cents on each dollar oF the eppra~aed valua..
tion, after deducting 1F%'t`rom the who2e amount asseased.
The total assessed valuation of the District amounLs to •
~389,35b.50.
R. E. Young then oPfered the followina resolution:
WHEREAS.the totsl assessed valuat3on oP the Distriet
anounts to $388,365.50 and

HBlP cenLs on a Dollar which amounts to $5,8M48 Por ezpen-
i ses of every kind Por the coAing year.
' Now, THEREFORE be it and it heraby is resolved that the
tiax levy oP the Gerdiff IrriaaLion District far the year
1911-1923 shn21 be the suts of One and a Ha1P cents on eaoh
dollar of valuation; This Resolution duly aeconcled and
unnninous3y adopted. -
