The meeting wss called to order,by E.E.Young.The min-
utes a'f the previous mesting of October Sd, 1919, were
read and approved.
Communications were read as follows:
, A communication was read from JQhn F. Covert,Hydrsulic
engineer of the Cardiff Irrigation District, accompained
tith report including prelininary plans and specifications
with estimates of cost of the proposed pumping system to
be installed including lands, water rights,rights of wey,
reservoir: sites and such other exnenses as would be necessary
to install said system.
A motion was made, duly seconded and carried,
That the communication from John F. Covert be accepted
and filed.
A motion was made, duly seconded: That the report
submitted by John F. Covert be accepted.

WHEREASf the Pres:dent of this Board, J. Frank Cullen,
has infarmed. the- Board: That the Assistant State Engineer, P. M. Norboe, made an
examinatiori of certain wells located on the lpscondido
croek deveZoped by the Cardiff Irrigation District and
recommended that there wap sufficient water developed to
irrigate, at least, 700 acres of lancl. He further stated that the District could go ahead and vote their bonds
for tfie purpose of acquiring a water system for Cardiff.

It was moved, duly seconded and carried: That the
secretary be instructed to forward the report and prelim-
inary plans, submitted by John F. Covert to the state En..
gineer for his approval.
