Gentlemen:-
I herewith offer to sell to the Cardiff' Iri,-3.gatian
District, the water system owned by me, located on east East
Block Two in Encinitas Cali.fornia, together with all machinery
(42 ~ S~i,.~~p~6 9o ~A ~r aa,`~-~ ) four inch
and ap tances situated on said block urxz the /main supply pipe
connecting sazd water works with the towm of Cardiff,California
for the sum of ten thousand (410,000.00) Dollars; payments to

be made in the following manner; ?
Three thousand aollars to be paid during 1916; Thirty-
five Hundred dollars durinT 1917 and Thirtv -°ive hundred dollars ;
during 1918.
I also extend to said District an exclusive option to
purchase all of the laterals and other distributing system
connected with said main at a price to be agreed upon v,rhen the
District may lawfully purchase same.

The following resolution was thereupon presented by
J. L. Minney;
RESO LVLD, That the salary of inechanical enGineer of this
District be and the same Lshall be $1500.00 a year payable at
~ the rate of $125.00 per month; 'j`ne Salary of secretary 0400.00
a year payable at the rate of $33.33 per month and the salary
of attorney $600.00 a year payable at the rate .of ~50.00 per ~
month.
BE IT FURTHIIR RESpLVED, that the Mechanical Engineer,
shall furnish the District f'ree of cha-rge and with no expense
to the District for operation or upkeep the automobile owned by
him when same is necessary to be used upon any business of the
District necessary to be performed by said mechanical en?ineer.
BE IT FtTRTIiER RESOLVED, that E. E.Young be appointed suid
mechanical en`ineer for the said distr ict. And be it
Further xesolved that in the event that said mechanical
en,yineer should fail to supplu an automobile for use in said
District then and in,that event the salarq of said en`ineer shall
be One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per month or $1200.00 per year,
which said resolution was unanimously adopted.
