The Board listened to a presentation by the property owner and representative, listened to community comments, and gave some generalized comments regarding the potential application. 8. ITEMS REMOVED FROM THE CONSENT CALENDAR BY COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD None 9. COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD/PLANNER REPORTS Informational Items - No action to be taken. BUSINESS 1. Appointment of CAB member to Arbitration Committee. Bruce Hall nominated and Dave Crimmins seconded an appointment of Harold Grossman to the Arbitration Committee. Vote was unanimous. 2. Planner Report and CAB discussion of proposed changes to Land Use Decision Making Process. Staff gave a brief report on the Land Use Decision Making project. The following members of the community spoke on the issue: Bob Bonde, Wayne Holden, Sheila Cameron and Dean Kitnick. The Board made a motion to send to the City Council the following request: To request that the City Council not take action on this issue on May 20 as planned, but instead that the City Council call a special meeting, with at least the CAB's in attendance, to discuss the role of the CABs, and that said meeting should be fully advertised.
