ORDINANCE NO. 94-04
AN ORDINANCE OF THE ENCINI'1'AS SANJ:'1'ARY DISTRICT
AMENDING THE ENCINITAS SANJ:TARY DISTRICT REGULATIONS
RELATING TO SEWER SERVICE CHARGES
The Board of Directors of the Encinitas Sanitary District does
ordain that the Encinitas Sanitary District regulations regarding
sewer service charges is amended by ~mending Ordinance No. 92-01
to read as follows:
SECTION ONE:
A. Flat Rate Per Equivalent Dwelling Unit (Rate 1) -- For
each equivalent dwelling unit (EDU) , a charge of One hundred and
Seventy DOLLARS ($170.00) per year.
SECTION TWO:
A. Variable Rate Minimum Charge (Rate 2) A minimum
service charge of One DOLLAR and Sixty CENTS ($1.60) per month
for each Hundred CUbic Feet of water used. This rate may be
utilized for schools and churches.
B. Variable Commercial Rate to be Based on Water
Consumption for High Water Consumption/Sewer Discharge Businesses
(Rate 3) For each newspaper, service station, car wash,
market, restaurant, bakery, movie, laundry, Laundromat, hospital,
convalescent, nursing or rest home, or any other related activity
or industry not dispòsing industrial waste, a service charge of
Two DOLLARS and Eighteen CENTS ($2.18) per month for each Hundred
Cubic Feet of water used.
SECTION THREE:
This Ordinance was introduced on May 25, 1994.
