ORDINANCE 91-01
AN ORDINANCE OF THE ENCINITAS SANITARY DISTRICT
AMENDING THE ENCINITAS SANITARY DISTRICT REGULATIONS
RELATING TO SEWER SERVICE CHARGES
The Board of Directors of the Encinitas Sanitary District
does ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE:
That Article II Subsection A of the Encini tas Sani tary
District Regulations is amended as follows:
A. Sinqle Family -- For each sinqle family dwellinq, a
charqe of One Hundred and Forty DOLLARS ($140) per year.
SECTION TWO:

That Article II Subsection B of the Encini tas Sanitary
District Regulations is amended as follows:
B. All multiple dwellinqs, includinq apartments, courts,
trailer courts, mobile home parks, motels, and hotels, shall pay
a charqe of One Hundred and Forty DOLLARS ($140) per year per EDU.
SECTION THREE:
That Article III Subsection A of the Encini tas Sanitary
District Regulations is amended as follows:
A. For each newspaper, service station, car wash, market,
restaurant, bakery, movie, laundry, laundromat, hospital,
convalescent, nursinq or rest home, or any other related activity
or industry not disposinq industrial waste, a service charqe of One
DOLLAR and Seventy-Nine CENTS ($1.79) per month for each Hundred
Cubic Feet of water used.
SECTION FOUR:
That Article III Subsection B of the Encini tas Sanitary
District Regulations is amended as follows:
B. The followinq units not covered by Section A shall pay
as follows:

1. For each shop, store, or office in a commercial or
professional buildinq operated as a separate business, havinq
access to the sewer system, a charqe of One Hundred and Forty
DOLLARS ($140) per year for each shop, store or office.
2. For commercial or professional building operated
solely as an individual business, a charqe of One Hundred and Forty
DOLLARS ($140) per year for each restroom.

SECTION FIVE:
That Article VI of the Encinitassanitary D stric~ Regulations
is amended as follows:
Minimum Charge -- A minimum service charge of One DOLLAR and
Thirty-Two CENTS ($1.32) per month for each Hun red Cubic Feet of
water used.
SECTION SIX:
This Ordinance was introduced on April 16, 1991.
