MINUTES OF ENCINITAS SANITARY DISTRICT REGULAR MEETING
JANUARY 11, 1995, 6:00 P.M., 505 SOUTH VULCAN AVENUE
President DuVivier called the meeting to order at 6:18 P.M.
Present:
President DuVivier, Board Members Lou Aspell, James Bond,
John Davis, and Gail Hano.

There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.

Management Analyst Suelter stated that the Encinitas Sanitary
District (ESD) was currently exceeding its peak capacity rights at
the Batiquitos Pump Station. The ESD Master Plan identified the
need for additional capacity to be purchased at the Batiquitos Pump
Station.
Ms. Suelter said the amount to be financed for ESD's portion of the
pump station ownership was $723,148 at 6.5% interest per annum over
15 years. The annual payment would be $75,593.
Staff recommendation was to authorize the District Manager to sign
the agreement revising the LCWD and ESD ownership, operations and
maintenance of the Batiquitos Pump Station and to finance the
capacity increase and upgrade of the Batiquitos Pump Station.
Bano moved, Bond seconded to approve the staff recommendation.

Public Works Director Nelson reported there had been a small spill
at 3rd Street and the Public Works Department had taken care of the
spill.
