REGULAR BOARD MEETING
AUGUST 28, 1986
CALL TO ORDER
President Harrington called the meeting to order at 4:30 P.M., Thursday,
August 28, 1986 at the San Diegulto Water District's office, Enclnitas.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Directors Cory and Anderson moved and seconded that the minutes of
the July 24, 1986 board meeting be approved as written.
Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF WARRANTS
Directors Anderson and Fllanc moved and seconded that warrants numbers
7051 through 7198 be approved for payment.
ANNE OMSTED

Motion carried.
Council elect member, Anne Omsted, asked the Board how long after
December 1, 1986 they would be will ing to serve the District.
The Board
agreed to serve through the fiscal year 1986-1987.
Ms. Omsted said she
would convey the message to the other members of the Council.
A discussion tol lowed regarding the disposition of the assets of the
District when the City takes over its management.

TREASURER'S REPORT

The Treasurer suggested that we set up a fund at LAIF for the amount of
the bonds outstanding.
Directors Pate and Cory moved and seconded that
the fund be set up accordingly.
Motion carried.
ENCINA
The Enclna manager's salary has been approved at $62,500 a year.

The
manager has asked for a contract.
Some of the JAC committee (Including the
Encinltas Sanitary District JAC member) are opposed to a cont~act.
The
District Board agreed with their JAC representative.
ENCINITAS PUMP STATION
Mr. Kubota reported on the pump station.
One part is missing and there
is stil I vibration in the pump.
MANAGER'S REPORT
