Resolution 99-17
A Resolution of the Board of Directors of the Cardiff Sanitation District
Authorizing Union Bank of California to Accept and Deposit Payments
F or the Cardiff Sanitation District into the City of Encinitas General Checking Account
WHEREAS, the Cardiff Sanitation District is a subsidiary district of the City of Encinitas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Encinitas sits also as the Board of Directors for the Cardiff
Sanitation District; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager for the City of Encinitas sits also as the District Manager for the Cardiff
Sanitation District; and
WHEREAS, the City of Encinitas and Cardiff Sanitation District have merged their administrative
functions for purposes of handling cash and certain other financial functions, yet maintain and
record these payments in separate internal funds.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Cardiff Sanitation District to
Authorize Union Bank of California to deposit into the City of Encinitas general checking
account all check, wire transfer, of direct transfer payments made payable to the Cardiff
Sanitation District.
