ADMINISTRATIVE RESOLUTION C-87-024
A DECISION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR
OF THE CITY OF ENCINITAS
APPROVING AN ADMINISTRATIVE DESIGN REVIEW PERMIT
FOR A FAMILY ROOM ADDITION
FOR PROPERTY OF LOT G IN BLOCK 2 OF CARDIFF ACRES, COUNTY OF SAN
DIEGO, MAP 1680 (COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1807 MAC KINNON AVENUE,
ENCINITAS)
WHEREAS,
Godfrey w.
Brown applied
for
an Administrative
Design Review
permit for a family room addition to a single
family dwelling
on one lot as per section 23.08.040,
of the
Design Review Ordinance of the City of Encinitas;
WHEREAS, a public notice was published and a comment period
ending October 9, 1987 was designated, and all persons desiring
to comment were requested to respond by that date and all
comments were accepted; and
WHEREAS, evidence was submitted and considered to include
without limitation:
a.
Site plan submitted by the applicant;
written information submitted with the application, 87-
065-DR;
b.
c.
Additional written documentation.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DECIDED by the Community Development
Department
Director
the
City
of
Encinitas
the

that
Administrative Design Review permit is hereby approved subject to
the following findings:
1.
That the proposed project is in conformance with
Section 23.08.72 of the Design Review Ordinance, since
the project is consistent with subsections A through D;

That the proposed proj ect is in conformance with the
intent of Section 23.08.74 of the Design Review
Ordinance, since the proj ect is consistent with sub-
sections A through J;
3.
That the proposed proj ect is in conformance with the
intent of Section 23.08.76 of the Design Review
Ordinance, since the project is consistent with
subsection, A through G;
4.
That the proposed proj ect is in conformance with the
intent of section 23.08.77 of the Design Review
Ordinance, since the project is consistent with
subsections A through D;
5.
That the proposed proj ect is in conformance with the
intent of Section 23.08.79 of the Design Review
Ordinance, since the project is consistent with
subsections A through F;
6.
The project design does preserve significant public
views to the extent possible, and offers mitigation for
lost views. Public views are defined as those views
provided from public property; and
7.
The project takes advantage of views and/or protects,
to the extent possible, some of the significant view
enjoyed by the residents of nearby properties.
DECIDED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of November, 1987, by the
Communi ty Development Department Director
for the City of
Encinitas.
