RESOLUTION NO. C-87-02l
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARDIFF-BY-THE-SEA
COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD APPROVING A
DESIGN REVIEW PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED
2172 & 2176 OXFORD AVENUE, CARDIFF-BY-THE-SEA
WHEREAS, Spencer Burrington applied for a Design review
permit for view preservation as required by City Council
Ordinance 87-68 adopted July 13, 1987;
WHEREAS, the Cardiff-By-The-Sea Community Advisory Board
(CAB) held a public hearing on August 12, 1987, as required by
law, and all persons desiring to be heard were heard; and
WHEREAS, evidence was submitted and considered to include
without limitation:
a.
site plan and elevations submitted by the applicant;
written information submitted with the application;
b.
c.
Oral testimony from Staff, applicant, and public made a
part of the record at said public hearing;
d.
CAB staff report #87-026-DR dated August 12, 1987,
which is incorporated by this reference at though fully
setforth herein; and
e.
Additional written documentation.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Cardiff-By-The-Sea
Community Advisory Board of the City of Encinitas that the Design
Review permit for 2172 & 2176 Oxford Avenue, Cardiff-By-The-Sea
is hereby approved subject to the following findings in
accordance with Ordinance 87-68:
1.
The project design preserves significant public
views to the extent possible, and it offers
mi tigation for lost views. Public views are
defined as those views provided from public
property.
2.
The proj ect takes advantage of views and/or
protects to the extent possible, some of the
significant view enjoyed by the residents of
nearby properties.
