RESOLUTION NO. C-87-013
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARDIFF-BY-THE-SEA
COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD APPROVING A
DESIGN REVIEW PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED
2420 & 2422 NEWCASTLE AVENUE, CARDIFF
WHEREAS,
a California Limited Partnership
applied for a
Design Review permit for two single family dwellings on two lots
as per Section 23.08.030, B, 6, of the Design Review Ordinance of
the City of Encinitas;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was conducted on the application
by the Cardiff-by-the-Sea Community Advisory Board on August 26,
1987, and all persons desiring to be heard were heard; and
WHEREAS, evidence was submitted and considered to include
without limitation:
a.
Site plan submitted by the applicant;
b.
Written information submitted with the application;
c.
Oral testimony from staff, applicant, and public made a
part of the record at said public hearing;
CAB staff report dated August 26, 1987, which is
incorporated by this reference as though fully setforth
herein; and
d.
e.
Additional written documentation.
NOW THEREFORE ,
BE
IT RESOLVED by the
Cardiff-by-the-Sea
Community Advisory Board of the City of Encinitas that the Design
Review permit is hereby approved with the following findings:
1.
That the project is in conformance with
23.08.072- General Conclusions;
Section
2. Section 23.08.074 - Design and Site Layout;
3. Section 23.08.076 - Building Design;
4. Section 23.08.077 - Landscape Design; and

Section 23.08.079 - Privacy and Security of the Design
Review Ordinance of the City of Encinitas Municipal
Code.
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, that the Design Review Permit is hereby
approved subject to the following conditions:
1.
That additional landscaping be added on the northerly
property line in the garage encroachment area;
2.
That the landscaping shall be installed in accordance
with the stamped landscape plans; and
3.
That the structures shall be constructed in accordance
with the revised stamped design plans.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of August,
1987,
by the
