It was noted that Mike Wells of Community Services and
representatives of the Parks and Recreation Trails Committee
were present to present a Trails Map for the Board's review
and questions. Since this was not on the agenda, the Board
requested that it be agendized for June 4, 1991. The Board
also agreed to agendize a special j oint meeting with the Parks
and Recreation Commission for May 23,1991, to take a bus tour
of the trails in Encinitas. - Approved

Note: There were approximately 30 speaker slips in

opposition. About 15 people spoke on each side.
Motion: Board Member Schafer - To close the Public Testimony
and to continue CAB discussion of this item to the June 18,
1991 Olivenhain CAB meeting for staff to return with
resolutions with findings for approval and denial of the
project in order for the Board to determine which findings can
be appropriately supported.

Parking on site in the ER/OS Zone, alternative parking
areas
Proposed church size and view corridors
Lighting generated from facility, cars and parking lots

Concern with noise from a playing field
Can a modified project be considered
Discussion of paved parking and designated overflow
