RR..;.2 zoning. Exempt per CEQA section 15303, a'. Board Member Van Slyke stepped down from this item during discussion with Board Members (potential conflict of interest. Motion: Board Member Schafer - To deny the variance request. The Board feels the encroachment into the side yard setbacks by a "condominium style" home on the small lot would be precedence setting and not compatible with the rural character of Olivenhain. The Board suggested that the applicant work and communicate with the neighbors for a future home on the site. Second: Vote: Board Member Perkins Ayes - Schafer, Post, Parkins Nays - None Absent - DuVivier, Van Slyke Abstain - None Board Member Van Slyke returned to the Board. C.
