RESOLUTION NO. OL-87-015
8 A RESOLUTION OF THE OLIVENHAIN
COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD APPROVING A
DESIGN REVIEW PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED
AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF 11TH STREET AND RANCHO SANTA FE ROAD,
OLIVENHAIN
WHEREAS, Barratt American, Inc. applied for a Design Review
permit for 14 single family residences on 1/2 acre lots as per
Section 23.08.030, A, of the Design Review Ordinance of the City
of Encinitas;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was conducted on the application
by the Olivenhain Community Advisory Board on September 8, 1987,
and all persons desiring to be heard were heard; and
WHEREAS, evidence was submitted and considered to include
without limitation:
8 a. site plan submitted by the applicant;
b. Written information submitted with the application;
c. Oral testimony from staff, applicant, and public made a
part of the record at said public hearing;
d. CAB staff report 87-014-DR dated September 8,
1987, which is incorporated by this reference as
though fully set forth herein; and
e. Additional written documentation.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Olivenhain Community
Advisory Board of the City of Encinitas that the Design Review
permit is hereby approved subject to the following findings:
1. That the proposed project is in conformance with the
intent of Section 23.08.72;
2. That the proposed proj ect is in conformance with the
. intent of Section 23.08.74;

3. That the proposed project is in conformance with the
intent of Section 23.08.76;
8 4. That the proposed proj ect is in conformance with the
intent of Section 23.08.77; and
5. That the proposed project is in conformance with the
intent of Section 23.08.79;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Design Review Permit is
hereby approved subject to the following condition:
1. That the house elevations not be duplicated on adjacent
lots.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September, 1987, by the
following vote, to wit:
Ayes: Board Members: Trujillo, Fernald, Bobbitt Tutoli, and
Du Vivier
Nays: None
Absent: None
