Motion: Board Member Birnbaum - To approve Case No. 91-
118 MIN with staff recommendations and the additional
condi tion that some landscaping be added in the north
planter area along Golden Road to screen the outdoor
table from the residential zone across the street. This
revised landscape plan shall be satisfactory to the
Director of Community Development prior to permit
issuance.

MIN/DR/V to the August 29, 1991 meeting of the Old Encinitas
CAB to allow time for staff to complete the legal noticing
requirements and for the applicant to address the following
4IÞ issues:
1. The site plan shall be revised to include four-9
ft. wide parking spaces with a 3 ft. planter area
in front of the spaces, a narrow planting strip
along the south property line, a 6 ft. solid wall
along'the west property line and wrought iron
fencing along both north and south property lines.
2. The landscape plan shall be revised to include at
least two 15 gallon trees between the parking
spaces in the north planting area, two 36 inch box
street trees in the front public street parkway
area acceptable to Public Works, and climbing-type
vines to be planted in the south planting strip to
climb up the wrought iron fence.
3. The colored elevations shall be revised to indicate
the proposed roofing color scheme.
4. A directional sign shall be noted on the site plan
to be placed at the southeast corner of the
building to state that additional parking is
available at 320 N. Highway 101 and parking
available for compact cars only.
