APPLICANT: Keiser
LOCATION: 841-843 Third street
DESCRIPTION: Design Review for a 4,372 sq. ft. duplex
on a vacant 5,000 sq. ft. lot in the R-15
Zone.
ENVIRONMENTAL
STATUS: Exempt per section 15303(10) of CEQA.
Motion: Board Member steyaert - To approve Case No. 91-
063 DR with staff recommendations and the following
additional conditions:
1. Decorative wall at least 1 ft. in height shall be
8 placed at the west edge of each rear patio area to
separate parking from patio area.
2. Provide a 2 ft. wide planter area with shrubs in
front of the two decorateive walls to screen the
walls from the alley.
3. Remove 2 proposed trash enclosure areas and replace
within rear patio areas.
4. Revise landscape plan as follows:
a) provide 2 columnar type trees a minimum
15 gallon size in the rear planting areas
off the alley.
b) provide 2 additional columnar type trees
a minimum 15 gallon size evenly spaced in
each of the side yards.
c) increase size of proposed tree between
the parking spaces to a minimum of 15
gallon size.
d Replace proposed street tree with one
8 approved by the Public Works Department.

The Board discussed having only one Community Advisory Board
meeting per month beginning with the June meeting to be held
June 27, 1991.

Motion: Board Member Cartwright - To adjourn at 7:30 P.M.
to the next regularly scheduled meeting of this
community Advisory Board to be held May 30,1991.
