Discussion of Special Meeting regarding the proposed commuter
rail station and bus transfer terminal which is scheduled for
CAB I hearing on Saturday, March 16, 1991.

Motion: Board Member Birnbaum - To continue Case No. 89-256
8 DR/EIA to the March 28, 1991, meeting of the Old
Encinitas CAB to allow time for the applicant to
address the following issues:
1. Resolve discrepancy of site plan contours with
building height to ensure that buildings do not
exceed maximum allowable height.
2. Revise building plans to limit chimney
encroachment into side yards to that which is
permitted by Code.
3. Provide a landscape plan which calls out
proposed street trees.
4. Show required and proposed building setbacks .-
on site plan.
5. Provide a color and materials board for the CAB
II hearing.
6. Show examples of possible street light poles
that are available to replace existing
deteriorated concrete light standards.
