3. ANNOUNCEMENTS
Staff announced that Jeff Fernald is no longer on the
Olivenhain Community Advisory Board because his appointment
to the Planning commission was effective immediately. There
are now three new appointees to the Community Advisory Board-
Steve Perkins, Kevin Johnson, and Linda Trujillo, who will
take their seats at the March 7, 1989, Community Advisory
Board meeting. We are very sorry to lose Michele Tutoli and
Susan Bobbitt on the Olivenhain Community Advisory Board.
Mr. Fryer appealed the Olivenhain Community Advisory Board's
denial of his lighting to the Planning Commission. The
Planning Commission upheld the Community Advisory Board's
denial, and Mr. Fryer appealed this to City Council. He has
withdrawn his appeal to the City Council and will be
constructing his tennis court outside the setbacks with no
fence and with lights since no review of the lights is
necessary if no other discretionary review is necessary. Mr.
Fryer may choose to construct a fence at a later date.
8 Joe Stumpf asked staff if there were any light standards yet.
Linda Niles indicated that the City Council will consider new
lighting standards when they re-review the City's new zoning
ordinance.
