CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL Community Advisory Board Members Present: Joe Stumpf, Susan Bobbitt, Chuck DuVivier Community Advisory Board Members Absent: Michele Tutoli staff Members Present: Linda Niles, Assistant Planner Sara Freda, Planning Technician 8 Mariane Buscemi, Planning Technician 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 3. ANNOUNCEMENTS Staff announced that Jeff Fernald is no longer on the Olivenhain Community Advisory Board because his appointment to the Planning commission was effective immediately. There are now three new appointees to the Community Advisory Board- Steve Perkins, Kevin Johnson, and Linda Trujillo, who will take their seats at the March 7, 1989, Community Advisory Board meeting. We are very sorry to lose Michele Tutoli and Susan Bobbitt on the Olivenhain Community Advisory Board. Mr. Fryer appealed the Olivenhain Community Advisory Board's denial of his lighting to the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission upheld the Community Advisory Board's denial, and Mr. Fryer appealed this to City Council. He has withdrawn his appeal to the City Council and will be constructing his tennis court outside the setbacks with no fence and with lights since no review of the lights is necessary if no other discretionary review is necessary. Mr. Fryer may choose to construct a fence at a later date. 8 Joe Stumpf asked staff if there were any light standards yet. Linda Niles indicated that the City Council will consider new lighting standards when they re-review the City's new zoning ordinance. MA/03/CAB12-905wp5 1(3-1/89-2) ~ 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS vick Scott, who lives adjacent to the Crystal Ridge project, asked staff if the dirt fill on the drainage easement was in conformance with the approved grading plan. Chuck DuVivier asked staff to look into it. Linda said that the City's Pub 1 ic Works Department is aware of it and that after completion of the project it will be cleaned up and put where it belongs in conformance with the grading permit. Susan Bobbitt said that it looked permanent to her and she was concerned that dirt was also piled on the property 2 lots to the north of the Fallon property by someone else. Linda will speak to Public Works again. 5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of February 7, 1989, were not yet available. 6. APPROVAL AND ADOPTION OF CONSENT CALENDAR A.
