Reviewed two of her concerns with the Community Advisory Board as follows: - Request that additional colors other than the three earth tone colors approved for the Sienna Canyon project be used if the owners do not like the original colors. She stated she had heard a lot of negative responses to the three colors. - CA Oak trees: overwatering can kill these trees. The Barratt Subdivision should watch the sprin}:ling under trees. Gerry O'Brien - 3256 Lone Hill. He stated he received a map A in the mail from the Barratt proj ect regarding a minor . realignment, but could not figure out where it was. CLOSING AND ADOPTION OF CONSENT CALENDAR 8 A. Approval of Minutes from meeting(s) of: June 6, 1989 and July 18, 1989. B. Other Items Motion: Board Member Trujillo - To accept and adopt the Consent Calendar with the following revisions. continue 5B (89-059 BA/CC) to the meeting of August 22, 1989, add the following items to the consent calendar and continue them as follows: 7B (88-351 TM/EIA) and 9A to August 22, 1989 and 7C (89-087 TPM/EIA) to September 5, 1989. CASE NUMBER: 89-017 DR APPLICANT: Barratt American LOCATION: East of Lone Jack Road at Lone Hill Lane (the Rheinhold Map) DESCRIPTION: Design Review for the construction and landscaping of 58 proposed single family residences in the rural zone. ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: Exempt Motion: Board Member Johnson - To approve the project and materials per the designations on the listing received during the August 8, 1989 Community Advisory Board meeting and further to incorporate and modify the following items in the Resolution: 8 mb/03/cab18-1432wp5 (8-18-89-2) 2 - Item E - allow staff to conduct administrative design review for individual homeowners fences over four feet . in height; - Item J and N - clarify the word "fences" to perimeter fencing which would require Community Advisory Board approval; and - Item R - revise the last part of the paragraph to read: "The purpose of the meeting is to ensure retaining the areas not proposed for grading in their natural state." Second: Board Member Trujillo Vote: Ayes - DuVivier, Trujillo, Johnson Nays - None Absent - stumpf and Perkins Abstain- Perkins Additional Motion: Board Member Trujillo - To approve the revised conceptual design of the bridges proposed at the entrance to the subdivision and at Lone Jack Road location pending City Engineering and Public Works review of the bridges and the feasibility of the bridges. CASE ,NUMBER: 89-042 MUP/EIA APPLICANT: Rhoades School LOCATION: 141 South Rancho Santa Fe Road DESCRIPTION: Major Use Permit application and Environmental Review for a proposed school approximately l4,725 square feet for 200 students grades K-8. ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: Under review. COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD/PLANNER REPORTS Member Linda Trujillo requested the status of the appeals for Rhyner and Helm as they were both appealed to the Planning Commission. staff stated that the appellant for the Rhyner application withdrew the appeal and the Planning Commission denied hearing the Helm appeal. lO. BUSINESS FROM THE COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD AND DISCUSSION OF CHARACTERISTICS AND OBJECTIVES UNIQUE TO THE COMMUNITY. None 11.
