RESOLUTION NO. 90-46
. RESOLUTION OF THE CARDIFF SANITATION DISTRICT
ADOPTING A RECORDS RETENTION SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, California Government Code section 34090 provides
conditions whereby public records may be destroyed; and
WHEREAS, the Cardiff Sanitation District has established a
Records Management Program under the supervision of the District
Secretary; and
WHEREAS, a Records Retention Schedule has been developed and
approved with respect to the records of the Cardiff Sanitation
District by legal~sel to the Di~trict; and
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and function of the Records
Management Program to assure that no public records are destroyed
without adhering to Government Code section 34090;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of
the Cardiff Sanitation District that:
1. The Cardiff Sanitation District Records Retention
Schedule dated October 17, 1990 is hereby adopted; and,
. 2. That Cardiff Sanitation District records, upon
completing the retention period specified in the Records
Retention Schedule, may be authorized for destruction by
Resolution approved by legal counsel and the Cardiff Sanitation
District Board of Directors.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of November, 1990 by the
following vote, to wit:
