A RESOLUTION OF THE OLD ENCINITAS COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD
DENYING A VARIANCE TO ALLOW TANDEM PARKING IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE EXPANSION OF AN EXISTING DUPLEX AT 312 NEPTUNE
(87-130V)
WHEREAS, a request for a variance to allow an existing
tandem parking arrangement to remain in conjunction with a
proposed expansion to an existing duplex located at 312 Neptune
was filed by Mr. Charles Evleth¡ and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was conducted on the application
on March 10, 1988¡ and
WHEREAS, the CAB considered:
8 1. The staff report dated March 2, 1988¡
2. The project plans submitted by the applicant¡
3. Oral testimony submitted at the hearing,
4. Written/graphic testimony submitted at the hearing¡
and
WHEREAS, the Board members determined that to approve the
variance would in effect constitute an amendment to the city's
zoning regulations, and thus that the required findings of fact
contained in section 30.78.030 of the City of Encinitas
Municipal Code could not be made as identified in Community
Advisory Board Agenda Report II-D a-d, dated March 2, 1988.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Variance application
87-130V is hereby denied.
