John's Church LOCATION: 1001 Encinitas Boulevard DESCRIPTION: Major Use Permit amendment to allow use of a lot adjacent to exiting church complex for a once yearly outdoor festival lasting 2 1/2 days. ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: Exempt per Section 15304(e) of CEQA. Motion: Board Member Mark steyaert - To approve 89-131 MUP 8 MOD with staff conditions and that the festival can be held elsewhere on the site and be limited to once per calendar year (instead of the first weekend in August). ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: Consistent with previous Negative 8 Declaration filed for the church project.
