A. Approval of Minutes from the meeting of: March 23, 1989.

Final Approval for #88-254 TPM - Application to create

LOCATION: 1086 Golden
DESCRIPTION: Design Review and authority to exceed
height envelope for construction of second
detached dwelling unit on a site presently
containing one single family dwelling.
ENVIRONKENTAL
STATUS: Exempt under CEQA Section 15303(b).
Motion: Board Member Peter Tobias - To continue 88-027 DR to
the next Community Advisory Board meeting of April 20, 1989
with revisions addressed by the Community Advisory Board.
. These concerns are the following:
1) Parking redesigned to relieve excessive use of paved
areas;
2} All elevations be modified to create greater visual
relief and facade articulation;
3) The height of the building brought within the Zoning Code
regulations as the following: Flat roof - 22 maximum or
minimum roof pitch 4:12 at 26' maximum;
4) Incorporate more landscaping (trees) around the
buildings;
5) Allocation of private open space for the second unit;
6) Additional parking not to be placed between the two
buildings as shown.

LOCATION: 755 Regal
DESCRIPTION: Variance to allow a proposed addition to
a single family residence to encroach
within an interior side yard setback.
ENVIRONMENTAL
STATUS: Exempt under CEQA Section 15305(a).
Motion: Board Member Mark Steyaert - To approve 89-038V per
staff's recommendation emphasizing the importance that the
neighboring structure to the south is 5 ft. from its north
property line in making the required findings.

Vote: Ayes - Birnbaum, Kauflin, Rotsheck, steyaert, Tobias.
