CEQA.
. NOTE: The applicant is requesting continuance of this
item to the meeting of June 4, 1990 in order to submit
additional information.

A. Follow-up Review of the Draft Landscape and Irrigation
Manual; Jennifer Meyer, Advance Planning
The Board did not have any additional comments and was
satisfied with staff's follow-up comments.
B. General Discussion of Proposed Road Standards.
Morton August, Director of Public Works answered
questions and addressed concerns that the Community
Advisory Board had regarding the Proposed Road Standards.
C. General Discussion of Green Signs which identify
"Entering and Leaving Encinitas."
It was clarified by staff that the existing green signs
identifying "Entering and Leaving Encinitas" were not the
. Community Identification Signs, Le., Olivenhain,
Cardiff, New Encinitas, Old Encinitas and Leucadia. The
existing green signs are used to assist the Sheriffs in
identifying their area(s) of jurisdiction. Community
Identification Signs have not been proposed yet.
D. General Discussion and Review of the Administrative
Design Review Process.
Staff clarified when Administrative Design Review was
required and implemented.
E. General Discussion of Landscaping on El Camino Real.
This discussion was interjected in the discussion on Item
7B. Morton August, Director of Public Works reviewed
the El Camino Real Median Strip Program.

review of tree plantings on the southern portion of El Camino
Real.

Motion: Board Member Beck - To adjourn at 8:35 p.m. to the
next regularly scheduled meeting of this Community Advisory
Board to be held June 4, 1990.
