A. Case Number: 87-127-GPA (General Plan Amendment)
Applicant: City of Encinitas
Location: 6.23 acres at the southwest corner of El
Camino Real and the westerly extension of Garden View
Road.
Project Description: Amend the City of Encinitas
adopted San Dieguito and local Coastal Program Land Use
Map from "AC" (Agricultural Cropland; to "13" (General
Commercial) for the 6.23 acre parcel.

Manager, 39 years worked in Post Office service;
. concerned with traffic element especially on El Camino
Real, types and frequency of trucks, noise impact on
neighbors, inconvenience and impact to and from 2nd
Street. Residents prefer to see in industrial rather
than residential area.
B. Case Number: 87-126-REZ (Rezone)
Applicant: City of Encinitas
Location: 6.23 acres at the southwest corner of El
Camino Real and westerly extension of Garden View Road.
Project Description: Amend the Zoning Map from S-88
(Specific Planning Area) to C-36 (General Commercial).
Staff has prepared a negative declaration for the
proposed projects. A review period of 30 days has been
established.
Environmental Review Period: November 3 to December :),
1987.
Note: Items A and B above were considered at the same time.

from Planning Commission to Council.
