A. Approval of Minutes from meeting of: September 20, 1990.
Motion: Board Member Jacobson - To accept and adopt the
Consent Calendar with the following revisions:
Revise September 20, 1990 minutes, item 7A motion,
to delete any reference to the widening of Urania
Avenue.
Second: Board Member Eldon

Board Member Locko stepped down from item 7A (conflict of
interest)

APPLICANT: William S. Rorke for Skyloft Homeowners
LOCATION: 1745 Skyloft Lane
DESCRIPTION: Major Use Permit Modification to allow the
Director of Community Development to
approve minor building additions and
al terations to individual homes within the
Skyloft development.
ENVIRONMENTAL
STATUS: Exempt per CEQA Section 15301.
Motion: Board Member Jacobson - To recommend approval of
this MUP/MOD to the Planning commission.

Board Member Locko returned to the meeting after the vote was
taken.
8. MISCELLANEOUS
A. Discussion of Dark Skies
- Dark Skies project being evaluated by a consultant
who's doing a study. Project is City-wide.
Presentation to the CAB will be forthcoming.
B. Discussion of Condominium Conversion Effect on Rental
Housing. The following points were discussed:
- Total of 34 conversion/2 recorded.
- Need to keep better tabulations on rental units in
Leucadia.
- Need "affordable" housing in Leucadia but not in one
8 spot.
