ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Howard Walker spoke on the street modification issue on Neptune Avenue. 5. CLOSING AND ADOPTION OF CONSENT CALENDAR A. Approval of Minutes from meeting(s) of: April 5, 1990. B. George Geottel Final Map 89-023 TPM/EXT, 529 Hermes C. PUBLIC HEARINGS CONTINUED A. continued discussion of Characteristics and objectives unique to the community. Topics to be discussed include but are not limited to the following: 1. Pedestrian Paths 2. Drainage Problems 3. Community Advisory Board Involvement 4. Dark Skies 5. Floor Area Ratios 6. Illegal Dumping 7. Noticing Advertising Area 8. General Plan 9. Community Advisory Board Comments 10. Other issues of importance as brought out in public hearing and Community Advisory Board discussion. The Item on Community Character was opened and the following speakers were heard: Buck smith Don Rady Darrell Palmer 8 The following issues were identified during the public hearing: - Pedestrian paths around school and railroad areas - Drainage problems, curb cuts, gutters and roads - Illegal dumping - enforcement problem - Size of staff - Items on Community Character are not specif ic enough Motion: Board Member Alice Jacobson - To recommend to the Planning Commission the concerns addressed by the community. CASE NUMBER: 89-090 TPM APPLICANT: Larson LOCATION: 602 Union Street DESCRIPTION: Tentative Parcel Map for a 4-lot 8 subdivision. ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: Exempt per Section 15315 of CEQA. cc/03/cab16-1746wp5 5(5/1/90-3) 5 8 Motion: Board Member John Eldon - To approve 4 lot subdivision as submitted - return with the Resolution to include that the existing trees remain and the findings were adequate to exceed mid-range density. CASE NUMBER: 89-264 TPM/EIA APPLICANT: Robert and Bradley Schlachter LOCATION: 515 Oceanview Avenue DESCRIPTION: Tentative Parcel Map and Environmental Initial Assessment for a 4-lot subdivision in the R-3 Zone. ENVIRONMENTAL 8 STATUS: Negative Declaration pending certification. Motion: Board Member Alice Jacobson - To adopt Resolution L90 as modified.
