Highway 101 DESCRIPTION: CAB I Hearing for Major Use Permit, Design Review, Tentati ve Map, and Environmental Review for a proposed 130 room hotel with restaurant and banquet hall facilities. The proposed project is located in the Limited Visitor-Serving Commercial Zone. ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: Under Review Motion: Board Member Eldon - To continue Case No. 89-014 MUP/DR/TM/EIA off Calendar to allow the applicant to address . the following concerns: Address view impacts by erecting story poles with cross 0 ties, and provide more documentation in the form of cross sections and line of site drawings. 0 Clarify location of public parking areas. 0 Geotechnical report addressing the impact of underground parking on the site. 0 Address noise impacts associated with the underground parking garage and outdoor uses such as the pool and mechanical equipment. 0 Provide information regarding hours of pool use and lighting schedule. 0 Address close proximity of pool to residential uses, and clarify location of pool equipment. 0 Provide more information on construction phasing. 0 Address bulk and mass and consider scaling the project down. 8 0 Address main entrance in relation to the alignment of La Costa Avenue.
