2. Public Hearing for a variance request to allow a proposed
. addition to a single family residence to encroach 9 feet
into the required 25 foot front yard setback. CASE
NUMBER: 93-092 V; APPLICANT: Michael Witkin; LOCATION:
419 Puebla Street; ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: Exempt per
Section 15301 (e) of CEQA. Staff Contact: Christopher
Durand.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Review the proposed project,
receive public testimony, and adopt the attached
resolution approving Case Number 93-092 V.
Motion: Board Member Hughes - To approve the Variance
request for Case No. 93-092 V as submitted.

3. Review City Council actions from the meetings of Juune 9,
16, and 23,1993 and Planning Commission actions from the
meetings of June 3, 10, 17, and 24, 1993. Contact
Person: Planning Technician Durand.
Planning Technician Durand reviewed recent City Council and
Planning Commission actions with the Board.
J. BUSINESS
4. Presentation and Discussion on the Encinitas Ranch
Specific Plan from Task Force Representative Lars
Fahlberg.
Boardmember Fahlberg informed the Board that the
Encinitas Ranch Specific Plan Task Force has completed
their duties and would be dissolved at the end of July.
K. ADJOURNMENT
Meeting to be adjourned to the next regularly scheduled
. meeting to be held Thursday, August 5, 1993.
