Assistant Planner Olson will be taking over as the staff planner for the New Encinitas Community Advisory Board. 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS None. 5. CLOSING AND ADOPTION OF CONSENT CALENDAR A. Approval of Minutes from meeting of: December 3, 1990 Motion: Board Member Grajek - To accept and adopt the Consent Calendar. CASE NUMBER: 90-244-DR/V/MIN APPLICANT: Gregory Smith LOCATION: 1408-1412 Encinitas Boulevard, Southeast corner of EI Camino Real and Encinitas Boulevard DESCRIPTION: Design Review for the remodel and sign program of an existing retail center; variance for trellis' to encroach into the front and street side yard setbacks; and Minor Use Permit for 2 monument signs to be allowed at a maximum height of 9' in the General Commercial Zone ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: Exempt per section 15301 of CEQA Motion: Board Member Beck - To adopt the resolution with the following conditions: - Sign at both driveways stating "right turn only", - Driveways be 32' in width with a 30' drive aisle; 8 - Awnings approved on the north and south elevations; and - stairs to the adjacent property to the south are not required. - Existing landscape island to be moved to the north exit. - Maximum height of building to be 16'. - Colors approved as submitted on 12/31/90.
