APPLICANT: winston Tire Company/Sign Methods
LOCATION: 206 N. EI Camino Real
DESCRIPTION: Major Use Permit Modification Request to
Permit Additional Sign Area for the
Winston Tire Store
ENVIRONMENTAL
STATUS: Exempt per section 15301(g) of CEQA
Motion: Board Member Patton - To recommend that the Planning
Commission make the required findings to adopt the resolution
approving the Major Use Permit modification.
Second: Board Member Weaver
Vote: Ayes - Beck, Grajek, Patton, Felker, Weaver
Nays - None

7. COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD/PLANNER REPORTS
Public Works representative Greg Shields and Wildan
representative Harold Arnold presented a report to the CAB
pertaining to landscaped medians on EI Camino Real from Crest
Drive to Garden View Road (P.W. Case #PW 062). This case will
be presented to the CAB in the future for its final
determination on the median and the type of plantings.
Affected businesses along EI Camino Real will be notified.
Informational Items - No action to be taken.
8. BUSINESS
Assistant Planner Olson informed the CAB that the Mayor/Chair
meeting was held on September 10, 1991, and gave a brief
synopsis of the meeting.
9. ADJOURNMENT
Motion: Board Member Felker - To adjourn at 8:00 P.M. to
the next regularly scheduled meeting of this
Community Advisory Board to be held October 7,
1991.
