1. Approval of Minutes: Regular Meeting of February 1, 1993
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve Minutes.
Motion: Board Member Weaver - To approve the Consent Calendar as
presented.

2. Public Hearing for Application No. 90-143 MIN Revocation of a
. Minor Use Permit Application which allowed for an "as-built"
accessory apartment in conjunction with an existing single
family residence. Applicant.: Hajar Taaly. Location: 1326
Tennis Club Drive. Environmental Status: Exempt per Section
15303 (b) of CEQA. Contact Planner: Marianne M. Buscemi.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff has determined that the
Minor Use Permi t has expired and therefore, it is not
necessary to do a revocation. The Revocation request is
withdrawn by staff.
3. Public Hearing for Application No. 93-024 V/DR/SPRO/MOD
request for a wall sign to exceed the 1:1 ratio and the "Not
to Exceed 100 Square Foot" requirement by 234 square feet for
the Super Crown Store to be located in the Encinitas Village
Plaza. Applicant: Super Crown Books Corp. Location: 131 N.
EI Camino Real (Encinitas Village Plaza). Environmental
Status: Exempt per Section 15311 (a) of CEQA. Contact
Planner: Marianne M. Buscemi.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Review written information and
receive public testimony. Provide direction to staff
related to project findings for approval or denial.
Motion: Board Member Wilkey - To approve the application as shown
on the revised plans submitted February 26,1993 with the
. following revision: The faces of letters are to be
translucent with white halo lighting.

Community Advisory Board to be held April 12, 1993.
