Contact planner: Craig Olson. . STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Consider the pròject as redesigned by the applicant to address the concerns raised by the Board at your last meeting. Determine if the required findings for approval of the application request can be made by the Board. If so, adopt the Resolution of Approval with the conditions as recommended by staff, or as may be amended by the Board. Motion: Board Member Beck - To approve the application request with the exterior wood to be white and the accent band to be painted grey (off-white) to match the stucco. The red accent stripe and signage are approved as submitted. Second: Board Member DeGaillez Vote: Ayes - Beck, DeGaillez, Felker Nays - None Absent - Edde, weinstein 3. Public Hearing for Application No. 94-057 DR/V, Design Review Request to Remodel an Existing Builders Emporium . (Vacated) into a Vons Grocery Store and a Variance Request to Reduce the Number of Parking Stalls Within the Shopping Center by 11 Spaces. Applicant: Von's / Gerald Munier. Location: 262 N. EI Camino Real. Environmental status: The project has been determined to be subject to an Environmental Initial Assessment to focus on traffic issues. Contact planner: Craig Olson. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive public testimony and continue the application requests off-calendar to be renoticed to include the Environmental Initial Assessment and a Sign Variance (if requested by the applicant). Motion: Board Member DeGaillez - Continue the Public Hearing to the meeting of July 19, 1994 and re-notice environmental and Variance request.
