A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CARDIFF SANITATION DISTRICT APPROVING THE
AMENDMENT OF LEASE AGREEMENT WITH CALTRANS
FOR THE OLIVENHAIN PUMP STATION STORAGE POND.
Be it resolved by the Board of Directors of the Cardiff Sanitation
District that: the existing lease between CalTrans and the Cardiff
Sanitation District of CalTrans Parcel 11-SD-5-9 (FLA) shall be
amended as follows:
1. To enlarge the existing lease area from approximately 4800 square
feet to approximately 30,500 square feet.
2. To allow the construction of an emergency electrical generator and
its enclosure building.
3. To allow the construction of an emergency sewage storage pond.
4. To increase the rent of said parcel to a fair market rent to be
determined by lessor's appraisal staff.
This resolution and agreement shall become effective and binding
.) between CalTrans and the Cardiff Sanitation District at such time as
CalTrans obtains Federal Highway Administration approval and issues an
encroachment permit to the Cardiff Sanitation District allowing the
above described construction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Cardiff
Sanitation District, Encinitas, California on December 3, 1986 by the
following vote to wit:
AYES: Luke, Omsted, Steel
NAYES: None
ABSENT: Gaines, Shea
