Each parcel contains a single-family home currently served by individual septic systems. One residence, which is being sold, has been experiencing periodic failure of its septic system. Therefore, the current owner has requested connection to a public sewer system. The adjacent property owner also is seeking connection to public sewer because both lots are on relatively steep terrain with slopes greater than 25% in some areas. The District has capacity to provide service from a sewer line located approximately 300 ft. from the property. There is existing residential development located to the east, south, and west, with vacant territory located to the north.
