. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CARDD'F SANITATION DISTRICT
AMENDING THE CARDIFF SANITATION DISTRICT CODE
RELATING TO SEWER SERVICE CHARGES
The Board of Directors of the Cardiff Sanitation District does ordain that the Cardiff Sanitation
District Code regarding sewer service charges is amended by amending Ordinance No. 95-05 to'
read as follows:
SECTION ONE:
A. Flat Rate Per Equivalent Dwelling Unit (Rate 1) -- For each equivalent dwelling unit
(EDU), a charge of Two Hoodred and Eighty-four DOLLARS ($284.00) per year.
SECTION,TWO: .
A. Variable Rate Minimum Charge (Rate 2) -- A minimum service charge of Two
DOLLARS and Forty-two CENTS ($2.42) per month for each Hundred Cubic Feet of water used.
This rate ~y be utilized for schools and churches.
B. Variable Commercial Rate to be Based on Water Consumption for High Water
. ConsumptionlSewerDischarge Businesses (Rate 3) -- May be utilized for each newspaper, service
station, car wash, market, restaurant, bakery, movie, laundry, laoodromat, hospital, convalescent,
nursing or rest home, or any other related activity or industry not disposing industrial waste, a
service charge of Three DOLLARS and Thirty-one CENTS ($3.31) per month for each Hundred
Cubic Feet of water used.
SECTION THREE:
This ordinance was introduced on May 14, 1997, and purs\UUÎtto law, shall become effective
30 days after adoption.
