CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL Chairman Davis called the meeting to order at 4:11 P.M. Present: Chairman Davis, Board Members, Hano, Omsted, Slater, Wiegand. Also District Manager Shafer, Board Clerk Pool, Interim Public Works Director Nelson, utilities Planner Henie, Management Analyst Schillinger, Senior Office Specialist Greene. BOARD/DISTRICT MANAGE~ REPORTS Informational Items - No discussion or action to be taken. District Manager Shafer reported the San Elijo plant was looking into taking secondary treated water out of the pipe before it goes to the outfall, chlorinating it and making it available for sale for agricultural and irrigation purposes. No cost to purchase the water had been determined as yet, however, it was being studied. Board Member Omsted said that elsewhere, reclaimed water was selling for one cent a gallon. The construction industry was discussing installing, at' no cost to the Cardiff Sanitation District, 5000 gallon tanks from which to fill water trucks with the reclaimed water. 7.
