Heeting called by notice pursuant to G. C. section 54956.
1. CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL
Since this was a joint meeting, Mayor wiegand acted as Chairperson.
Mayor Wiegand called the meeting to order at 9:07 P.M.
Present: Chairman Davis, Council/Board Members, Gail Hano, Pam
Slater, and Maura Wiegand.
Absent: None.
Also District Manager Shafer, District Attorney Krauel, Board
Present: Clerk Pool, Assistant District Manager Benson, community
Development Director Murphy, City Engineer Holt, Public
. Works Director Nelson, Sheriff's Captain Apostolos, Fire
Chief LaMarsh, Management Analyst Schillinger, Management

There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.

Sla~er moved, Omsted seconded to nominate council Kember Bano as
president of the Encinitas Fire District and council Member Davis
as Vice President and to nominate Council Kember Slater as
President of the Encinitas sanitary District and council Kember
Omsted as vice president, with the remaining Boards continuing as
they were in 1990-91 (Cardiff sanitation District Davis/Bano, San.
Diequito Water District omsted/Wiegand). Ayes: Davis, Bano,
omsted, Slater, wiegand; Nays: None.
By council consensus (except where otherwise indicated) the
